Created on 2021-08-21 Updated on 2024-01-06

The Overlaxed Servers rely on the IPv4 Protocol to enable communication and internet access among devices on the network. This protocol is free and comes pre-installed with every server type. It assigns a unique IP address to each device, allowing them to identify and communicate with each other. With its 32-bit address space, the IPv4 Protocol can accommodate up to 4.3 billion unique addresses, making it the most commonly used protocol for connecting to the internet. This protocol's stability, reliability, and security make it the preferred choice for the Overlaxed Servers. Therefore, you can be assured of a seamless and secure network connection while using Overlaxed Servers.

Overlaxed does not currently support the IPv6  Protocol on all server types.
